Why every price is on the site

Most painting websites will not put a number on the page. You fill in a form, wait, and find out what it costs after someone has been through your house. We think that is backwards, so every price we have is published — and each one links the cost guide it was taken from, with the date, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

Where we could not find a solid NSW figure, we say so on the page instead of quietly using one from another state. There is one service where that is currently the case and it is flagged where it appears.

Why suburb pages

A house in Austinmer and a house in Dapto need different work. Salt carries off the water and sits on anything facing east; under the escarpment the shade keeps walls damp long enough to grow mould; inland it is the sun that does the damage. Housing stock differs too — older weatherboard is a different preparation job from newer render. So each suburb has its own page, with what actually matters there.

How we quote

You tell us about the job, we work out what it takes, and you get a fixed number in writing. The price does not move once the work starts unless you change the scope — and if something unexpected turns up behind a wall, you hear about it before anyone carries on.
